The first 365 days of Fashion Snobber.
It was March 13, 2015, and although it was in my head for some time finally (or unfortunately) I decided to start this blog with my first casual outfit for a tired born morning.
Needless to tell you what has brought me satisfaction because not having high expectations then let alone now. I’m happy how it’s going, and will always do me good because I take it for what it is. A space in which I speak of my passions through fashion.
365 days of Fashion Snobber, good first birthday
Happy birthday to fashionsnobber.com, for his first birthday, for these 365 days of shared passion trying to maintain an editorial plan post 3 a week in which I believe that I have never changed but have you ever talked with my heart in hand that’s me. With my strengths (I have yet to find it) and my faults (infinity, I know).
But today I’m not here to tell you what happened in this year and in these 365 days but to thank you all. Who goes constantly to read me, who spends only a simple linkbuilding and not even know my name, and those who pass will not comment, but takes ideas, those who pass the right to criticize and who out of mere curiosity.
Thank you all, thanks to the exceptional people that this blog has made me meet and discover, thanks to those who have never been afraid to tell me his opinion even if different from my thought, because it taught me a new point of view and I It has demonstrated maturity that the estimate does not cease for a difference of opinion as often happens. Thanks that despite we know is a world where you can really find everything there is also the best, and I’m very proud of this best is in my niche.
Thanks to brands that have contacted me believing in myself and in my particular way of sponsor them, realizing I get around so a little ‘different from the usual fashion blog and I feel how I respond after I tell him to be interested and what I in mind.
Thank you for appreciating my “suffering to make outfits” and to welcome them in the right spirit with which I want interpretiate them, that is, with the right irony and sympathy because you know I could hardly do better.
Thanks to everyone, but those who have stayed here and will pass in the future, for the next 365 days I promise to never change as a person and will continue to break your boxes on many things; from my being a nerd, to always find that nit maybe a little ‘uncomfortable, not to understand the plateau, the average nail a different color of nail polish, the crop top and a thousand other trend of which I always speak with my usual way to joke based on my very old school mentality due to the contexts in which they are grown. I will continue to get dressed as they are in my daily life so I do not forsake sheath dresses for events or jacket, tees and jeans Ralph Lauren for my daily life. I, however, promise to improve myself, to try to make better pictures, to be more social from what I can succeed and maybe improve a little ‘the level of content. I said that I try huh, I do not know if I can. Let’s say I have the good intention to do so.
I never said to last one year, they are sincere and a bit ‘disbelief but there are successful thanks to your support and to my desire to continue with consistency and desire to share.
For this festive day I spent the morning to cook a cake. Buy it would be easier and certainly would bring a better result but I wanted to try to do something with my hands. As you know is a landslide in the kitchen and I have no manual so be kind and appreciate the attempt.
I cooked three cakes made sponge cake, cut in half and stuffed with pomegranate jam, then I equalized, a fact all too lost type 5 cm in height, but turn a blind eye. Then I coated with white sugar paste, a black satin ribbon at the base of each floor and decorated with sugar paste colored Tiffany (the color that characterizes my blog) spotted and tried to recreate the logo of the blog with silhouette of the sheath dress with hat. Roses and candle obviously not my work. An imperfect result like me, but I like it, I would say it represents me, or rather, is the blog and this trip even just started but I hope will continue for long. The great thing after all is never the arrival no? But the way and then let us enjoy it with its ups and downs, disappointments and achievements, and let’s make it unique with the joy of which we are capable.
Happy Birthday Fashion Snobber and another 365 days as well! Maybe. ;P
I leave the recipe I use for the sponge cake. I do not think anything special compared to other very much, but maybe you can come in handy.
Doses for a Sponge Cake of 24 cm in diameter.
150g of sugar
75g of potato starch
Shell the eggs, add a pinch of salt, sugar and processed with electric mixer at least 15 minutes ingredients. After obtaining a frothy mixture of color almost white Test is successful, raising his whip and noting the mixture forms a “ribbon” that does not immediately sink in the dough, but remains on the surface.
Add the flour and potato starch mixed together previously and let them fall in the dough with a sieve. Embed them gently with a wooden spoon so as not to remove the compound with eggs.
Pour into a springform pan buttered and floured, bake at 150°C for about 40 minutes.
After cooking leave the cake in the oven for at least ten minutes so as to prevent collapsing with the sudden change in temperature between inside and outside.
Remove from the oven and let cool before filling it as a favorite.
Do not open the oven during cooking, otherwise you risk that the cake unmount.
