The Pantone Report has also been clear for this year. Of all the trendy colors, two will stand out. Rose Quartz and Serenity (light blue). Ready to show off pink outfit as if there was no tomorrow? After a year spent under the banner of Burgundy (or Marsala), we are now going towards decidedly more pastel and delicate nuances.
Pantone also explained the reason for this trend by pointing out how the search for relaxation and well-being has become indispensable to combat the stress of our daily routine. Carrying it by reflex, even in the colors of our clothing. A combo of nuances able to marry perfectly with each other and which can make a dock worker like me a little more feminine.
Pink outfit: casual chic with a touch of serenity
I admit it, I couldn’t resist. I also succumbed to this color trend and unlined my best pink outfit to show that we can dress light even in winter. A casual chic look in which the pink coat is definitely the master. Typical gloomy winter day in which I decided to give some light and color to brighten the hearts. Lighten them up so much that after a while it started to flood. LOL! In a nutshell I cannot tell you if these nuances really are able to bring serenity around us. The climate certainly does not care but it would be nice if it were really so little.
In this pastel-toned pink outfit I wore a Zara pink coat, G-Star high-waisted skinny jeans and Benetton light blue sweater. As accessories, however, Miss Globo pumps, Mia Bag and tartan maxi scarf taken at the Forte dei Marmi market together with the white beret with pom poms.
From my serene blue and pink outfit, that’s all for today, I’ll wait for you at the next outfit.
