What to suitcase: perfect luggage with only 16 items

by fashionsnobber

Making the suitcase for me is always a nightmare. I start with the best of intentions to be able to bring a few items with me but then I end up exaggerating and find myself half a wardrobe on vacation with me. Which then, objectively, I don’t even exploit everything. From now on, however, I decided to make a commitment and after various tests I understood what to suitcase to create a perfect luggage with only 16 items.

What to take with you on a trip

A lot of times I found myself having to pay the surcharge at the airport and arrive at the hotel with my aching and longer arms than half a meter. Enough, I can’t take it anymore, the time has come to make a change to my mania of “everything can always serve me“. But before I told you about it, I wanted to give it a try. I’ve been gone about 10 days. I was in Lenno, on Lake Como, where I have a family home where I often go and if I had not managed to keep some clothes dirty I could still have washed and ironed them. It seemed like a good compromise to test this new method on how to pack. I confess that it was very hard for me. Before leaving, it took me two days of intense bankruptcy failures and unraveling. In the end it seemed to me that I left naked by giving up carrying all my usual set of suitcases.
Now that I’m back, however, I feel very happy to have succeeded and what to suitcase for the next travel will no longer be a problem.

What to suitcase for a 10/15 day trip: only 16 items

My suitcase included 16 items plus a dozen accessories excluding the watch, earrings or bracelets that I wear almost constantly and underwear. Basically a nothing. Yet I managed to bring out numerous outfits and always look differently dressed. The result was similar to this.

How to seem always dressed differently with 16 items

For convenience, I have tried to propose the wardrobe that I brought in my suitcase using only H&M clothes. To find the exact article I had, it would take me years and maybe I could have talked to you about what to suitcase your bags next year. The colors I used are still the same as the type of cut and shape of the clothing is very similar.
As you can see the main color is blue, then I selected a neutral color from my closet that could look good both with patterns and with solid colors. The classic cream/ivory is perfect not to go wrong. As well as the leather color for the basic accessories (belt, large bag and wanting a pair of shoes). Being a quiet holiday and with my son in tow I gave up the heels by choosing a ballerina and a lace-up shoe. Comfortable and practical shoes for any trip where you also have to walk a lot to visit. Having explained this, here are some examples of how I turned the various garments together. Obviously many more outfits come out because each piece mixes very well with any other. Below I have reported only 16 while the control panel is the outfit used for the trip. The trench and pashmina I have not included in the various changes of look because they are the fixed piece to be used on all depending on the climate or individual needs.

16 different outfits with 16 pieces of clothing in a suitcase.

I hope this little guide on what to suitcase can be useful and if you have any other advice or advice to give me, do not hesitate, I am sure I can still improve.
